Merry Christmas 2008

I can't believe I haven't written anything on this page since last Christmas. I guess that will be my resolution this year, write more stuff on our web page. I updated the pictures on the top of the page, so I guess that's something. Anyway, this year's Christmas newsletter is now posted. Remember, if you don't yet have an account on the site, set one up so you can see the pictures and newsletter.

Thanks,

Ken

Injured Hudson

Our Sunday morning started out with some excitement. Hudson and Gentry were playing around and Hudson fell. Gentry was on Hudson's shoulders and came falling down on top of Hudson - here was the result. There are more x-rays in the Photo Album.
The Pace Boys at Monarch Skiing - New Year's Eve
We went skiing for the first time since moving to Colorado. I think we narrowly avoided having our Colorado citizenship revoked for not having ever skied. We went to a fun little ski resort called Monarch. We had a lot of fun (although I probably won't be able to walk on New Year's Day).

Merry Christmas

A pic. of lightning taken from our porch.

Summer Storms

The weather here is interesting in the summer, also. There's a chance for rain every day. The thunder sounds like it is right by you all of the time - it echoes around throughout the mountains. The nice thing, though, is even when it rains, it dries almost immediately - it doesn't leave a muddy mess behind. The picture above was taken off of our porch. Go to the photo section to see it in a larger size.

The North Pole

June 1, 2007

Today we had a party for Hudson's birthday. We took a group of kids to The North Pole, a small amusement park up in the mountains. The kids had a lot of fun. See the pictures in the Photo Album.

March 31, 2007

Gentry's birthday is this week, so we did some fun stuff today to celebrate. We spent a couple of hours at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs. See some pictures from our zoo visit in the Photo Album section.

Then we all went out for pizza at Fargo's Pizza Company.

Feb. 7, 2007

Everything here is going well. It has been pretty cold (off and on) although is was 60 yesterday. I've posted some new pictures of a project that Graham did with his class. Pretty cool.

Dec. 29, 2006

We are getting hit with more snow. We probably won't be leaving the house for a couple of more days. Luckily, we don't really have any reason to.

If you don't already have an account on our web site, click on the "New Account Signup" link on the left side of this page.

Thanks,

Ken

As you've probably seen on the news, we got hit with another big storm. I've added some more pictures from today.
House in the snow

We got hit with a huge snow storm today. Our first big one. Check out the photo album for some pictures.

The New House

Welcome

Welcome to The Pace Family web site. Now that we're moving up to Colorado we'll be keeping this site up-to-date with pictures and news of what's going on with us. We still don't have a final date for when we're moving (we need to get our house in Arizona sold) but we will definitely be up there for good before the summer is out.
